Operating system

Joplin version

v3.5.13

Desktop version info

Joplin 3.6.6 (dev, win32)

Device: win32, AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS w/ Radeon 760M Graphics
Client ID: bdec577eff8a43f29498f5d3662d45b8
Sync Version: 3
Profile Version: 49
Keychain Supported: Yes
Alternative instance ID: -
Sync target: (None)
Editor: Markdown

Revision: e709921 (dev)

Backup: 1.5.1
Freehand Drawing: 4.3.0

Current behaviour

  1. Open Joplin desktop application.

  2. Navigate to any screen with buttons (e.g., Settings or toolbar).

  3. Observe primary and secondary buttons: Hovering or clicking does not show expected visual feedback.

  4. Observe tertiary or sidebar-secondary buttons: Even when disabled, hover and active styles are still applied.

Result: Inconsistent button behavior across different button types and disabled buttons still show interaction feedback in some cases.

Expected behaviour

  1. Hover and active styles should only apply when buttons are enabled.

  2. Disabled buttons should not respond visually to hover or click interactions.

  3. All button types should behave consistently.

This issue was observed on the development version (3.6.6 dev). Please let me know if testing on the latest stable version is required.
