Namespace Form Auto-creation not working

Namespace Form Auto-creation (https://calva.io/namespace-form-auto-creation/) is not currently working, at least for me, and @PEZ commented on Clojurians slack that this may be a regression. When I create a new file ending in .clj, instead of a namespace form I get a message offering to let me generate code or select a language, which is apparently the standard VS Code message for empty files.

I am thinking it could be the new messaging from VS Code that has this side effect. So Calva is losing in some race condition where it used to win.
